And that's precisely why I'm waiting for physical media to be available in the shops - I wouldn't mind paying £20 for a digital copy, but I refuse the pay the same as for a normal game when there are no production, shipping or retail costs involved.

I'll probably get the 360 version, just because I can never get on the PC now the missus has both Total War: Medieval 2 AND Sims 3

I decided to wait on a physical copy to be available. I'm just an old man like that. I hear it's very faithful, though.

Apparently the turn based game on PC is extremely faithful to the tabletop game, so much so I've heard people ahve been downloading the living rulebook to read up on some of the complexities.

I'm interested in the DS version, if its the same as the 'real' BB it would be great fun for train journeys etc.

Apparently so, but as the PC game was 6 months late, and the 360 game almost a year overdue we'll probably see it in 2015.

I've never used my DS via the WiFi and multiplayer things, how well does it work? Well enough to find someone to play Blood Bowl with, if it actually comes out for it? It'd be silly for them not to include multiplayer, after all.

    For pros/cons.

A pro and a con for the tabletop version is that you model that teams yourself. However that's also a pro for many people as they enjoy the art angle, also you can make your team unique. My Norse team is converted Chaos Mauraders, and I get a little creative (the runners are in a flying tackle position with viking horns out front via use of an extra flying stem).

Another pro that is also a con is playing face to face. You might be doing both with your friends. But playing at a game store or at someones place is different than playing with people online ,and I like the social aspect.

A final pro for the game is that you can play any team you want any day you want. Unlike tabletop where you have to get the team.

So is there anything about a ps3 version? or is this game only going to be for the PC, 360, and DS?

I"ll be a sad panda if I dont get to play this game.

My problem with PS3 in a nutshell - not enough great games to make it worth buying the system.
