Welcome to Librarium Online!
I bought some mordheim models a couple years ago but never got to play them. This is my list:
Witch Hunter Captain
Brace of Pistols
Double handed weapon
3 x Flaggelants
3 x Warhound
The captain and two of his witch hunters stand back and shoot. The third witch hunter leads the rest of the warband into closecombat.
Is it competitive compared to other lists. I want to max out on witch hunters because they look cool. i also wanted to put in a dwarf slayer but ran out of gc to spend on it.
The Holy Bolter
998. model bolter: Godwyn pattern with ammo counter, sinister/dexter lock mechanism and sickle magazine with 30 rounds of .75 calibre bolts with diamantine tips, depleted deuterium core & mass reactive detonators. Fires in 4 round bursts.
"A bolter is a treasured weapon; but in the hands of a Space Marine it is a divine instrument of the Emperor's wrath"
Not a bad starting list, seems to be your style, so i have only a few tips. First is to take the max amount of heroes. You have 4, so that's actually a decent number. Just be sure to roll well in the exploration phase. An elven ranger could help with his seeker ability, if you have the crowns for it. And my second piece of advice is to combine the 2 zealots- that way if one of them survives the battle, they both get an experience point. Just give them both maces or both axes.
Hope that helps.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong.
Make good use of your warhounds too, they can be used to "intercept" enemies trying to charge your heroes.
Looks like you have a pretty solid list, but youll find out once you start playing (especially in a campaign).
