does any one play it anymore. I wished more people did. No one plays it around me. It was a cool game while people did though.

I thought it was ok but it failed into comparison of necromunda. The sad thing is that's basically what it replaced.

i ve played a little, but then i got hooked on 40K, but i dont think GW wants these smaller game types to last that long... i think they just try to vary the same genre...

Mordheim rocks, but as for all the games - if you play it, they will come!

If you notice that last year hardly anyone was playing WFB, cos Eye of Terror was going on, whereas this summer I don't think I played a single 40k game until the new Roolz came out.

If you like Mordheim like I do (probably one of my favorite games) then get everyone you know who plays Fantasy and get them playing it, or explain how it works. The 'hook' with Mordheim being the jumping between buildings, over chasms, and over trees ala Crouching tiger, once people start doing that they stop thinking "Fantasy but less models" and more "Heh, he just fell twenty feet onto the ground and landed on his spleen! - cool"

The more people like to roleplay, the better Mordheim becomes, so even using some WFRP elements in it as well, like creating your own adventurers tavern and using some dungeon questing elements will get some D&D'rs intyo the fold as well (If you're really desperate to play someone, that is&#33

I started playing a couple of games of Mordheim in my local club a few months back with one or two mates, and it got to the stage where I actually ran a participation night to stop all the silly questions about hiding and routing - and now I'm organising a Mordheim campaign for about a dozen guys...

It might not seem like it here, but theres always action on the Mordheim Specialist Games forums.

I think its is mostly a 40k / Fantasy targeted site.

I think GuardinGnome is right, if you check the actual GW Mordheim forums you will find a lot more people.

I'm lucky enough that my high school has a game club, and we play both Blood Bowl and Mordheim every year. Too bad this is my last year...

Usuallly there are a few Mordheim players who frequently go into game stores and play. Most time its just a small group of like five people who play. If you can find a group like that (or start your own), you're set.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong.

Mordheim is an excellent game. There is a gang of gamers here, and every six months we get hooked om Mordheim, play furiously, and then grow tired as one warband becomes Über-Über, whereas the others are just über.
Then 6 moths pass, and one day we just create some warbands and away we go, great fun.
We have about 11 warbands that circulate among the players, sometimes we get new buildingd/annuals/models too.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel allright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace, and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
