I am just after buying the new human bloodbowl team, because I think the mini's are seriously sweet. Now that I have a team I would like to know the rules.
So a question to the bloodbowl players out there, is it worth buying the box set of the game, for the pitch, markers etc or should I just download the rules from GW?
I have a feeling that the box might just be worth it as I get more models for my human team and a second team for my friends to use.
The box is definitely worth it, as without that you don't have a pitch to play on. However, you can always get cheap BB sets from eBay, which is where I got mine. You should also download the LRB from http://www.bloodbowl.com, as it contains the latest updates and team lists.
Just a quick note though, if you don't decide to get the box, you can download and print out a wide selection of pitches & dugouts from here: http://www.mmoron.com/bbowl/html/.
All the old Specialist Games resources are currently being uploaded at the Tactical Command forums, and you can find them here: http://www.sg.tacticalwargames.net/fanatic/.
Cheers Anacron, thats great, second link doesn't seem to work though.
Keep on trucking.........
