heheh this is gonna be interesting.
mine was my Vampire, with sprit, strongman, scale sheer surfaces, strike to injure and step aside.
she (yes thats right) gained +1 s, +1 t, +1 ws, +2 a
she was the bane of my fellow gamers
Meh, that's nothing. My assassin adept had the Executioner's Hood and a load of skills like you wouldn't believe. He ended up having 9 attacks, at S6, causing criticals on a 5-6. He also had lightning reflexes and strike to injure, as well as fearsome and sprint. I think he was an advance or two away from being maxed out. Never got infiltrate, figured I didn't need it with sprint and M6.
In the final battle, which was about 6 warbands against a beastmen army, he ended up taking on about 6 beastmen every full turn. I think he was finally felled by the beastlord, who we gave a ridiculous amount of skills to, as well as a few khorngors (who for some reason also had skills). But don't worry, he made a full recovery and is now wandering the streets of Mordheim, driven insane by the Executioner's Hood, killing anything he sees.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong.
I haven't really had any uber-characters but I will describe one my brother had.
He was a Shadow Elf Champ: with WS5, S4, W3, A3, I8.
He had lightning reflexes, dodge, step aside, fay quickness (so he he increased his dodge and step aside to 4+), strike to injure, expert swordsman, basicly all the combat skills.
He also had the frenzy injury and the magic sword that stunned on 1-3 and out of action on 4+. (Combined with strike to injure made it 3+). He also had a lucky charm , a second sword, Ilthiliamar Armour and an Elven Cloak.
He killed the Sword of Twilight in one round. He was just plain sad and cheesy. Needless to say nobody played his warband anymore since his other heros were only slightly less hard than him. Everyone also agreed the Fanatic was correct in making Shadow Warriors unofficial.
Witch Hunter captain, +1S, T, I, +2W & A. Weapons Mastery, fearsome, sprint, trick shot, pistolier and pit fighter. Not to mention a brace of warplock pistols! He was fun!
Unofficial rules; bretonnian warband
+1 on all stats (honestly... I played a lot with them
Gromril armor, barded warhorse, and shield (1+ armor save)
Lance and sword, had 7 strength 7 attacks on a charge...
"I have died a thousand deaths, and I will die a million more..."
I had a Witch Hunter Captain once that was worth 270 pts.
M Ws Bs S T W I A Ld
4 4 6 4 3 3 4 2 8
I Have a Vamp that is immune to all S3 Combat attacks! (oh and he also has S6 WS5 I5 and A3) he has T6 and Resilience, as well as sprint, lightning reflexes, combat master and gromril armour!! (sadly because of him most of my opponents no longer want to play me)
We weep for the blood of a bird, but not for the blood of a fish
