    Need some help... (Ostland warband)

    I just started playing morheim with a Ostland warband and I would like to get some advice on what I got now...
    Advice and critiques would be amazing for this newbie in the city

    1 Elder with sword, shield, dagger and brace of pistols 105GC
    Priest of Taal with sword, mace(counts as staff), sword 58GC
    Blood brother with dagger, sword, shield 50GC
    Blood brother with dagger, sword, shield and pistol 65GC
    2 kins with dagger, axe together 60GC
    Kin with axe, sword and shield 45GC
    Kin with 2H-weapon 40GC
    2 Jaegers with 2 daggers and bow 74GC


    Also a little question for the spell of the priest do you roll for it every turn like in Warhammer or does it has a different system ?

    i dont know about ostlanders sry. my friends and i usually stick to the warbands in the main rulebook, or dwarfs, or orcs & goblins.

    however at first glance the warband looks ok, provided ur after numbers, rather than best equipt. i must tell you tho that the larger the warband the less gold you get after a battle.

    as for the question of the spell. i presume that when you said "do you roll for it every turn like in Warhammer " you actually mean do you roll before each game and keep it for that game only. the answer is no. you get that one spell forever, you can get more later on, but u will always have that first spell (unless u die of course)

    and seeing as ur new i will tell you that to get a new spell the caster chooses to do so instead of taking a skill for an upgrade. in this situation, you would roll once again on the spell list. if u get the same spell you can either reduce the casting difficulty by 1, or roll again. as with the first spell, you will b stuck with this spell forever also (unless u die).
