kas vero vs. Alienid

The tau held the top of his head, feeling an intense throbing where his head had hit the rock. He looked around, finding himself in a strange cavern of sorts. He had just been walking through the grassy fields during his mission, when all of the sudden the ground caved in, falling into some sort of tunnel that led him to his current location. This place was very alien in nature. The entire structure ~ walls, floor, cieling ~ was covered in some sort of bony, purple resin that was shaped in a rather skeletal fashion. The first thing he had noticed though was how hot it was in the tunnel. It was a very humad as well. Suddenly, something began to unravel from the wall. As in detached itself, He saw that it was a strange xeno creature, terrible to behold. once completely uncoiled, it stood enourmously high and towered over his frail body. It had blended into the wall perfectly until this point, as if part of the structure. as soon as it unraveled, the creature crouched into a hunting stance, flaying its sharp ended tail at the tau.

K'as fumbled with his pulse rifle, trying desperately to activate its energy pack before the beast could launch an attack. His mind was clouded with fear and the heat, unable to focus properly on his task.

attach vs. tau dude turn1 (1d20=9, 1d20=6)

The tail whiped and lashed towards the tau. The sharp, bladed end of the tail zoomed straight past the tau's head, almost decapatating him. It then coiled backwards, the tau barely ducked in time for it to miss his back. If it had hit, it would have impaled his blue body in a grusome display of blood and inards.

Just managing to avoid the beast's tail K'as raised his pulse rifle and opened fire, keeping in mind all the tricks the instructor had taught him. With typical accuracy K'as missed completely, blowing large chunks out of the cavern roof and doing little more than covering the alien in dirt.

Disgusted with his pulse rifle K'as lobbed it at his opponent with a heave, unfortunately it didn't do any better than it's ammunition and merely skidded across the floor, K'as drew his sword and stood, waiting for the beast to charge him.

attack vs. tau dude turn 2 (1d20=16, 1d20=14)

The alien rolled to the side, to avoid the projectile. Using its momentum the alien springed to the side towards the wall, and pushed against the wall with its hind legs with one powerful kick. the result of this lightning fast manouver disoriented the tau, and allowed the alien to get within his blind spot. Leaping through the air, arms stretched out the alien crashed into the tau; its claws Gripping down on his abdomin. The Alien's full weight was on Vero, pinning him. He was traped under the hulking form of the alien over him. The alien looked into his face. He saw nothing in its eyes but a cold calculating hunger. The alien opened its mouth and out of its maw protracted a long slimy tongue. The tongue slithered down and across Vero's face, as if to tast him. as it slid across, it left a trail of acidic drool, cuasing an unimaginable burning and irratation on Vero's skin.

K'as struggled with the alien, writhing to try and avoid the obvious toxin. He shrieked in pain as it burned its way across his face, the medics would be able to cure it later so he wasn't worried about a scar...first he had to survive the encounter.

With a burst of strength K'as managed to kick the alien off of him, rolling to the side to reclaim his sword K'as regained his feet and advanced on the alien.

alienid vs. tau dude turn 3 (1d20=19, 1d20=1

the alien flew off the tau, backfliping in mid air. Its tail whiped out, grabbing onto a tube like coil on the cieling of the tunnel. The alien swung from its tail upwards and gripped the cieling with its massive claws. The alien was so fast dexterious, the tau could not follow with his eyes. Scuttling across the cielng the alien droped to the ground behind the tau. Before he could even begin to turn, It grabbed him by the side, lifted him off the ground and pulled him to its mouth. Vero shrieked in agony as the alien bit down on his sholder with its desease ridden jagged teath. After tearing a chunk of flesh from his shoulder, Vero was able to muster the strength to wiggle his way free of its paws. As he disoriently stumbled away, Vero felt a sharp sting in the area where he had been bitten, and cuaght a horrible glimpse of the damage. He noticed little black worm like creatures covered the wound, like maggots on carrior. Not only that but he could feel some sort of venom coursing through his viens.

K'as was shaking at the feeling of the venom. He fumbled with a case attached to his armour and pulled out a small vial full of liquid. He quickly drained it and instantly felt himself relax and his heartbeat slow. He doubted it would do anything to stop the venom or maggots but at least he was calmer now.

K'as launched his attack on the alien, his head feeling strangely foggy, with a few well-timed feints he passed the aliens defences but his sword bounced from the armour-like plates covering parts of the aliens body.
