I'm actually thinking of doing a hordes army too, and coincidentally(really) doing a very similar color scheme to his dire troll at the end of the page.

Eh, the more I consider it, there's already a LOT of red in Hordes/warmachine. I'll probably stick to "standard" colors. I'm very strongly considering trollkin. But yea, I really like the whole concept that every army is so horrendously broken and thereinlies the balance for the game.

I absolutely adore the Legion's colour scheme and there is a pretty good tutorial on how to do it at Brush Thralls. I just need to take it and apply it to the rest of the army (i.e. that which did not come in the starter box), which isn't too difficult, all things considered. I've never tried platinum armour before, so I'd certainly like to work a bit on that.

Hordemachine (easier to write  ) is two quite fantastic games. I recommend them for everyone who want a different take on miniature wargaming.And that DT looks pissed because of the red. I really like the original TB colours as well so there's no wrong with using them.

Rep Power: 66 |  I like this one. The colours used are very natural and well balanced. Things like the green cloak look especially good. The highlighting and general use of details is also above average which works well. Typically Kroot models are considered low on the food chain and given poor paint jobs but this one looks good. |
