Leech, it's a great paint job, however, given the green tint of the skin, I think the robes would have been better off gray. The green robes just blend too much with the skin for my tastes. -T & David: I believe what -T needs is a 'rabbit's foot.' Unfortunately, I'm a rabbit pirate and hold meself up on two peg-legs- no extremities for -T ![]() Here's my cousin, Ralph. He sails on th 'Black Carrot,' though, he hasn't been seen since this video: http://video.aol.com/video-detail/ra...zza/2669771625

Too much freehand! *head asplodes* I seriously have no idea how people find the time and the motivation to draw so much freehand or the kind of work that must go into finishing these darn things. See, personally, I'm quite happy just painting a standard Land Raider in Dark Angels Green (or Bleached Bone for the Deathwing) and then highlighting it. This is just a whole new level. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I'm not in love with the Scibor one at the top, but the one after that would make an excellent Deathwing Land Raider...I may just steal the design for my Angels of Redemption Land Raiders as well.

I have seen a friend once doing a Land raider all white as a Deathwing Land raider. It is often interesting to see. I do like the work with the freehand wings on the thing. It does however also remind me a little of white chocolate which is yummy. The second Land raider I think has a higher painting standard but isn't quite as pleasing to look at. What is good is how the dirt has been done on the tank. Especially how it has smeared onto the fancy Dark angels artwork. It does also make me want to write 'wash me' on the side of the thing. The artwork on the side of the Land raider is especially good and very interesting to look at. |
