And by THAT, I hope you mean 'Chaos' chapters (heh). After all, I'll have to report you to the chaos union if you even think about reverting back to our loyalist roots. :party2:

So what if I DO I mean loyalists? I can do what I like, I'm CHAOS, I'm ...(whispers) UNPREDICTABLE, baby. You just don't KNOW what I'll do next!

Well to be honest. The latest codex completely and utterly killed all desire not only to play chaos, but I have had a severe lack of motivation for GW games as a whole.
I'm sure the pendulum will swing back that way eventually(it always does) but working for over a year to get my army to the tuned point I want it to have it completely taken away is not what I signed up for.

Is it due to the lack of troop infiltration? Have you seen these builds that have been floating around with noise marines & tzeetnch marines as troop options, and then chosen, raptors and small missile launcher havocs for support? They do a fairly good job at preserving the infantry oriented chaos builds of 3rd edition.

I'm not knocking the current codex for its viability. I think that the codex is fine as a "renegades" codex. I wanted to play traitor legions when I got into chaos.

I wanted to play something completely different from loyalist MEQs.
Right now, 90% of the powerful builds are revolving around rhino delivery, which
is exactly what I play for space wolves. I'm not saying I won't get back into chaos, my boys
are waiting to be dusted off. But right now, I'm really dissapointed that they didn't
preserve the very concept for which I built my army around.

I was and am completely enamored with the concept of my alpha legion ambush fighters.
