Hence the reason why alot of stories of Perturabo is pictured with a massive thunder hammer.

The contrast of the colours is cool. They also use a very clean paint job which is nice to see. The second bloke is cool by the way he almost seems to be glowing to me. I like his banner too. It looks like a hologram, but the look is good as it sort of makes it look like it may be a banner woven from futuristic materials. This next bloke is interesting. I think I like how good the paint work is. The shading and highlighting is very good. The effect created is to try and replicate how the armour would be reflective in real life. I do think though that his face is rather odd. He looks like he suffering from some really bad sunburn. I would imagine Marines have some special protection against that. The Champion with the bone armour is interesting. He looks very stark but I like the use of shading on him. Doing very light colours can be hard as they don't forgive mistakes. The last bloke is good mainly because of his backpack. The highlights and the way the colours blend into one another is very good. However the painted symbol on his right shoulder is a little off (the symbol in the center of the wreath is wonky)which is unfortunate. Thanks again to Rabbit for these pics. They will be helpful in deciding what Space marine types, what my own Chapter or Chaos lot might look like, I might get into sometime in the future. Thanks for all the pics though, they were all interesting. Last edited by Leech; November 15th, 2007 at 21:40.. |

Rabbit, if you're going to do Hordes, then I'd like it very much if you can find some pictures of the Legion of Everblight warbeasts or Legion Warlock Thagrosh Hellborne... Legion infantry looks like some pansy pointy-ears, but the beasts and that particular warlock are perfectly gribbly. They'd make for some nice Tyranid conversions! =D

Uzi-99, requested noted. I'm not too familiar with these models, so I'm currently gathering images and sorting through the ones I have in order to find Privateer Press minis. Pics of the Day: Primarchs (per request). I'm including a few additional 40K historical characters as well. Most of these have already been feature in either this thread or the Conversions of the Day thread- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :::NONE OF THESE MODELS WERE PAINTED OR CONVERTED BY ME:::
