Well I'm grateful for the DKOK mini's and if people find more of those brilliant pictures, and other IG pictures, then put them up.

I have an alterior motive though in that I've been looking to collect DKOK for a while. I started out with chaos SM's and collected a whole bunch but lost interest in them. So I have boxes of stuff that is still unassembled. DKOK appeals so I'll be selling my Chaos stuff and moving (slowly) into the DKOK.

I saw this commissar and I ordered myself one the other week (it's just arrived). The pictures are misleading - the level of detail on this mini is incredibly fine. There is also another commissar that forge world has just released that has the same mini in an action pose drawing his sword that looks very cool.

A few announcements: This thread has now broken the 1000 post marker. Andusciassus (old buddy) was the good chap who did it.

Sorry to back track a lot of pages, but I think this scene is absolutely stunning. Just taken me back a lot of years to the days of Space Hulk. Theres so many little details in just three (well two and a half) minatures.

Bring it back GW, bring it back!

Always happy for people to post their comments on images, regardless of when the original image was posted. I'm just happy that people still grind through all 100+ pages :drinking:

Thanks Dan, I'm glad you brought this up. While the pics and conversion daily threads wholeheartily welcome member participation (and I'm very happy with those who are taking interest), the images should indeed relate either to a particular request or the current image theme selected for the day. On this note, members should feel free to take charge and post their own image themes, which will in turn set the precedence for that particular day. Any requests may be picked up at will by members desiring to do so, with examples provided on the spot or within a few reasonable days of the request. This helps keep the threads from turning into a picture posting race, where everyone posts whatever they want. This can easily get out of hand :happy:

A little double-posting action, from the Rabbit-man

Out of all those models, I think the Death Riders are particularly well-done and though I can't see the banner very well, it seems to be done with enough detail that it looks good from afar, which is nice. I think the guy on the bottom is a traitor guardsman with a flamer, though. I say this mainly because of that mask he's wearing, which is a bit different from the normal Death Korps one and the fact that he doesn't seem to be wearing the standard Guard flak armour. Well, that's my logic at least.

I thought the posting frenzy was just damaging the structure and meaning of the 'of the day' threads.

The above guardsmen, i believe is a cadian conversion, but it looks super cool!
