I think the first one is good here. I like how the colour of the skin is showing through the dress she is wearing. Doing effects like that can be very hard and it is easily the best painted model of the lot. The expression on the face is good too.

The second model is well painted, the highlights are very good as is the shading. The reflection is a very nice touch too, it makes the model much more than some blue-girl. The model does suffer from a problem that it is badly proportioned, the legs are a bit too small compared to the rest of the body. Also it is rather comical that the undoubtedly deadly blue-lotus chick isn't looking where she's going about about to go for a swim.

thank you, now thanks to those pictures of boobies, I am now permantly impotent, they look to fake, but at least they figured out a way to conseal the lower naughty bits

I like how they coloured them, sept #1 which looks to red, and # 3 who's butt looks bigger than the rest

and then there is mrs. Claus, I am going to have nightmares about that for a long time....

and all the ones with boobs showing, they all look biggish, and those models scare me, at least Make it a link instead of forcing them into the young veiwers of LO, like seriously, if My mom caught me on any site with even models showing that, she'd ground my butt

Never underestimate the power of psycological warfare. I'd rather ask her for a dance than a duel. She'd probably kill me before the question was finished too...

On a more serious note, I think people in and around ancient Greece did it quite gladly. They were all a happy bunch of nudie-warmongerers.

These are all nice sculpts and very good paint jobs.

The problem is the heads. The heads are often too big in minis (look at IG models) But you can disregard it when the rest of the anatomy i obscured.

On these models you can see very clearly that the heads are way out of proportion... Except the third one. It is i proportion and the body looks realistic (even the boobs)

The first (and second) model look like a dwarf (halfling?)... Or children with curves

I've always been a big fan of the "sheer" and "seethrough" effects. Its such a technical triumph(at least for me) I hope one day I can paint like that. I've seen many renditions of the effect and you have to be so dern good at it to pull it off, half-ass just doesn't cut it.

It has to be done with very thin washes and diluted paints, yes? Is there any other way of achieving this effect?

I like the Blue Lotus chick, mainly due to my penchant for the slightly unnatural (and believe me, a blue chick who can balance so perfectly on a rock in the middle of a lake is definitely unnatural). There's a distinct sense of tranquility and, if you'll forgive me for using the term, "zen" about that model and if there were just a willow on the bank and cherry blossoms falling over the base, I'd probably buy it on the spot.

Now, to find a bank that I can rob and make a clean getaway...
