Speaking of female forms, I was perusing CMON, and saw this. The figure itself is good, I thought the steed ould have used some more work. But I was interested in the freehand in the banner, which I thought was very well done.

Now, we could show you what these are in many ways. All of which would result in being banned from LO rather sharpishly. haha You'll have to figure it out for yourself. Asking a young lady to see them, might result in a sharp pain (either a kick or at your age, a heart attack -__^ ) somewhere on your body.

I'm not a big fan of a lot of the 'all scratched up" marines. They just don't look quite right to me, no matter how well painted. On the other hand, I'm so in to the Ultramarine assault marine it's beyond belief. He is simply fantastic- characterful, clearly a bit of a hero who's been through a few scrapes but still not too over the top on the damage. Brilliant.

Second to last, the one with the flamer: I have seen this one before, but the more I look at it, the less I like it. Yes the scratched and chipped effect on the armour are well done, but that is all this one has going for it. The shaded areas between armour plates and the collar plate are a tad bit sloppy. Not to bash the artist, but if he/she could get the chipping lines so well done, couldn't they have done better on the main paint job itself?

I'm with Paint Monkey though. That is my favorite out of all of these, and I loathe Ultramarines. The only gripe I have with it (besides being an UM) is that the bolt pistol is highlighted backwardly. It's lighter on the bottom then it is on top.

I'm not sure if it's meant to be that way or if it's just a sloppy paint job. I personally like the vet look on space marines and aspire poorly towards it in my own work, but each to their own 8Y
