Here are the Cadians I painted. They aren't great, and the camera isn't the best either so sorry about that. I always thought it odd that every squad was ran by a Caucasian, so I went a different direction. Of course he is the farthest away.

They were originally intended to be Inquisitorial Stormtroopers, and the rest of my WH are in the snow (because I didn't think the Repentia were suffering enough), hence the bases.

Ah, Battlezone, I remember it so well. Was pretty poor at it, but that's life I suppose. Anyone ever played the remake they did in the 90's? The one where they basically turned it into an RTS involving the Cold War and various alien technologies?

Hehe...

Anyway, somehow those Termies don't remind me of camo at all - they actually look more like the Angels of Redemption (half bone, half green scheme) with too many thick highlights. As deepstriking I guess it could work but the Angels of Redemption thing is stuck in my mind and from that perspective, the highlights are an eyesore.

I like the first image of the chaos marauders.

The iron rhinoix IMO isnt too good.

The mud daemonic steed is, wierd.

The last chaos models steeds head is WIERD.

I like the Kroot models, and the New ork mounted leaders are great.

How about we see some more Nurgle-y stuff. I am really trying to get my head back into my painting, and I could use some inspiration

This lot are interesting, however I think I can tell from the lower standard of painting and modeling that people don't like mounted models quite as much as other models. The first bunch are good, very pleasant to look at and the painter seemed to know what he/she was doing. The dark colours work well and the few lighter colours are well placed in that they prevent the models being too dark but they don't let you think the models are anything but dark.

Of the other models they were interesting. The giant mud thing is fun looking. The Juggernaught is well done too. I like the effects in the conversion and in the painting. Two models I don't like here is that Kroot right at the bottom. The highlights look awful, like they were accidents that the painter never fixed. It also somehow looks overwhemingly dry, too dry as if it is made out of rock, most awful Kroot-thing with Kroot rider I have ever seen.

The last Chaos lord is also rather dodgy. The paintwork is good but rather hard to see. At times the three legs of the four-legged creature that are visible look like three legs all on the same side of the body as if the thing has a total of six legs. Oddly enough I think it would of been better with six legs. That awful head, ye gods, what is wrong with that awful head. The face just looks silly, I almost feel I should feel sorry for it. Similar to that way in that film Labyrinth, the one with David Bowie, the girl Sarah encounters a big, stupid but friendly monster called Ludo. This thing reminds me of Ludo, I did like Labyrinth, however I don't think that Ludo would fit in well with some Chaos lord.

You just hit upon my favorite branch of Warhammer- NURGLE! If it were just me, I'd post Nurgle models every other day. I'm more than happy to oblige.

Um, the first pic are not chaos marauders. They are a unit in Confrontation from the faction called Dirz. Dirz faction has a very striking theme to all their models which is hard to not know.
