I've gotta go with Jon Quixote's Private Joker. Don't get me wrong, ShadowZora's Techmarine is beautiful; I just think that with the Power Axe at the ready, it looks a little too combat-ready for a non-combatant. Thanks for the feedback on mine. LordLink, the fuel case was from the Battlefield Accessories sprue. I had to cut off the existing handle and use a Catachan hand that's carrying the lasgun by the handle.

I voted for Zuke as I liked the concept of a mutant who worships the Ruinous Powers through hard work! It struck me as interesting and the model lives up to the concept! Some very good entries all round though. |

JQ gets my vote. The FMJ reference is superb, and the painting is very well done.

Jon Quixote's Private Joker for me, its good and original, the first thing that crosse my mind for non combattant was a techmarine or apothecary, also I like the fact that there is lno visible weaponary, i.e. total non combatant, not toteing a power axe. The fact that I love full metal jacket was the nail in the coffin, or rather it was my vote in the box.

The work on the glasses is especially good. The reflection is very well done. Other things such as the little symbol on the helmet help to add character to the model. Basically I feel if he were to show up in a game he would be fun to see and of course killing the annoying little camera man would be fun too. I was going to enter myself but I felt sick the last week or so. |

Thanks guys for the nice words and the voting. I look forward to the next comp, and what I can make for it. These comps really do push me to do stuff and get my lazy bum at my painting desk. Quote:

Been a while since I've even posted, but my vote goes to JQ. Beyond it being a great model, I thought it stuck to the contest theme the best.

Well done to "ShadowZora13", congratulations on your win with such a fine miniature. It will be added to the hall of honour soon enough. You have a week to contact me about the subject for the next contest, feel free to discuss this with me and others. PM or email, and I will endeavour to get around to it as quickly as I'm able. =) KU
