Very nice model there Jon Quixote. Full Metal Jacket is a good movie, and you got your model to look very similar to "Joker," which is awesome.

Still good though, just out of place. Where did you get the fuel-case from?

Shadow Zora's looks pretty impressive, I'm going to follow the crowd here and vote for the techmarine.

JQ has it for me.
Lovely blending mate, really nice. Would appreciate a slightly larger image, as it is hard to see all the details, especially as you've gone for such a 'realistic' colour scheme.
Very nice work on the glasses, and the little details really bring the model to life.

SZ comes in second for me, really good, subtle conversion work, but the painting just isn't up to JQ's standard.
Nice rich red though, do you mind me asking how you got it?

Howser, the painting seems fairly good, but the angle you've shot it from really isn't helping you out.
Combine the 'odd' photo with the old model, and it's kinda hard to see it for what it is (ie: a Beaky (Mk 6) Marine throwing his arms up, in a Platoon reference...).

zuke, fairly nice all round, but I think the join between torso and legs needs a bit of work, at the moment it just looks like catachan|beastman, as opposed to a blurred (or even indistinguishable) line.
The painting is nice, but nothing particulaly "wow" making, in my opinion.

Kinda bummed at the low turnout, but not hugely suprised to be honest.
Hopefully the next one will have a few more entires!

The red was done with a base of scab red blended up to pure blood red with roughly 4-6 steps (don't remember exactly as I just kept adding blood red to the mix) between the 2 pure colors. I was also impressed at how well it turned out. I think its because scab has a slightly brown tint to it, while gore is somewhat purpleish, and the brown-deep red worked very nicely for the mechanicus red.

And I agree on the comment about turn out. Woulda been a more interesting vote with more entries.
