Hi all, I have the battle for skull pass paint set and it has a mustardy yellow paint in it that gives good coverage. I wanted to buy a bigger pot and got Iyanden Darksun thinking it was the same colour, however it looks significantly different when I opened it up. Anyone know which paint the BFSP yellow is? Cheers! |

I am not exactly sure. I read through a 'Battle for skull pass' painting guide and the yellow colour used on a Goblin's shield was sunburst yellow. If they are telling people in the painting guide to use sunburst yellow I imagine that may be the colour you were supplied in the painting set. I am not sure though. There is an easy way for you to find out. Below is a link to a Imperial guard interactive painting guide. It doesn't matter that it's an Imperial Guardsman, but what is shown is all of the colours and they are named. Poke though the different colours there until one of them seems to be the colour you want. http://uk.games-workshop.com/imperia...ash-painter/1/ You could as take a look on the box as it may list it's contents and name the paints for you. |

The yellow paint in the BFSP box is a unique colour, as it was made using the same process as the foundation paints, but specifically for BFSP and way before foundation paints existed. If you want/need the exact same colour, you can get it in the 'starter paint set' for Fantasy, that has a bunch of plastic BFSP gobbos in as well. Slightly wasteful, but as far as I know thats the only way to get more... -t.
