Well, just digging through my old Warhammer stuff, and i found this model. Now, when i first began the hobby, about 4 years ago, i started with WFB, and the O&G army. To put it bluntly, they wern't very good. I soon got bored, and gave up. Now after recently got back into the hobby, but in 40K now, i've got a bit more skill in painting. So after growing bored of painting the same models, 100 times over (I play Nids), i've decided to re-do this fine specimen of a model. No idea if he is even still legit to play, but i don't play O&G any more, so who cares. Anyway, rambling done. This is how i found him in my shoebox, poorly painted and some where and tear. Ironhide1copy.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting I even found a bodged conversion attempt that i did on his back, in superglue covered bluetack >_>. Anyway, my plans are to strip him, then maybe add a boarskin cloak to his back in GS, although, i have VERY limited experience with GS. Thats probably all i'll do to him modelling wise, as i want to try and make him good by painting mostly. BTW, i seem to be having trouble re-sizing the picture, no matter what i do, when i preview the post it still strecthes. So if, when i post this it still stretches, i'll remove it and just have the link. |

Quick update, the stripping didn't work very well, as it was coated in a layer of floor polish, so its hasn't really been touched. Today i've sprayed it, and made a bit of progress in the painting. I'll throw up some pics in the morning.
