I have only been playing 40k since my birthday last October but am already very interested and wondered about a new paint scheme for my army.

I want to get Imperial guard but i want to try and focus them towards a Cityfight paint scheme.

What colours would you suggest?

I thought about like, chaos black and greys and whites.

I have seen a few successful urban camo schemes.
-Base Black, Grey blotches, white specks
-Base Black, Dark Blue blotches, light blue/white specks
-Base White, Red blotches, Black specks

I have a few fire warriors painted in urban camo that are base white with dark gray geometric shapes with black lines highlighting one edge out of every shape. (The edge is the same side of each shape.) It worked well with Tau because they have large armor sections that allow for some easy detail work.

With Guard you might want to stick with the camo blotch on the cloth parts with a solid color for their body armor. Try playing around in MS paint with some colors and patterns to see what you like, that’s what I did and is saved me a few "experimental" models.
