I bought the Fall of Black reach box and decided to start a new Space Marine Army (Crimson Fists). I am wanting to find out what colors are used to paint them. I know it is blue and red I just want to know the correct blue and red.

A pure and simple route is using the Necron Abyss and Mechrite Red from the foundation range, then using Badab Black on the blue and Baal Red on the red. That's just one of many ways though, and possibly someone else might point out another way you might prefer. But I hope that helps ya! lol

I did my few crimson fists a bit differently. I gave them more of an indigo blue than the necron abyss (I use necron abyss on my alpha legion :-P). I basecoated black, and inkwashed them in dark green. Then used a blue wash over the green ink till it turned bluish in color. Went over those parts in a gloss goat. The trim of the armor was done in shadow grey then washed over in the same blue till it turned a dark blue/grey color. Fists were done with Red Gore, then highlighted with blood red.

I'll see about getting a few pictures of a couple of them up tonight when I get home from work.

How long have I awaited this day! Many, many months ago I fore-saw the rise in Crimson Fist armies and created this "how to" guide for quick army production.
