Default painting service

Do to a disability I am unable to assemble and paint my models. Actaully assembling is ok, although long, lol. its conversions and things like of that nature that are near impossible. I have lots of ideas and things I want to do with my army. the reason for this post is to inquire about painting services. Know any good ones? here are my questions.

Jacgames.com, found them...any good? reputation?

Any other recommended services?

General cost? (for example, WoC battalion)

Places that do requested conversions?

I am not looking for anything ellaborate. Basic Khorne paint scheme. The switching around of some heads/shields. Only real conversion is looking to make my lord/hero/bsb and mages. PM me if you want exact details of what I'm looking for. Thank you all in advance. Oh, I live in the U.S. btw...incase that info is needed.

Check out the Reaper Mini forums, too. There are painters there who do commissions. There are people here on LO who do commissions.

Also, have a look at the LO front page. There should still be an advertisers index that allows for comments.

I sometimes do commissions (but not right now), and one way I find clients is by selling on ebay. Someone buys a model I have and is looking to field an entire army. Point is, you might check out ebay. You can always send someone a PM and see if they're interested.

For people who rely on army painting for income, a weak economy means fewer customers spending money on what is essentially a luxury good. For you, that might mean an opportunity for a good deal.

Don't be afraid to ask for references. If they'd put you in contact with a customer, you'd get some valuable input.

How nicely do you want your models painting? Are the conversions you have in mind extensive? Are you willing to do assembly yourself to save money?

Default Thanks

I'm not looking for award winning work, but something I would be proud of. Something worth the cost. The conversions are nothing serious. Looking to use chaos knights and blood crusher juggys to make some simple conversions. Would like to maybe add/subtract horns on some helmets, nothing too intense, yet I'm no pro so...lol. What is a good price though. Just give me an example of what you would charge for a WoC battalion to be painted. Just so I have an idea. Thanks again.
