I haven't checked my hobby store yet to see what kinds of inks they might have for purchase. I'm a bit cheap when it comes to my painting, I find that I can produce quite satisfactory results with less expensive brands. So how much do some inks cost. Looking for a website anyone might have purchased some inks from in the past, not GW inks!

For washes my favorite ink is Wonder Wash inks from Wonder Wash For my stronger inking needs (more intense color) I use Higgens permanent drawing inks and Dr. Phill Martins liquid acrylics, inks, and water colors. These are for black lining or using full strength to ink, or glazes. I do like GW's brown ink.

Thanks for that site for Wonder Wash. Are those 1oz bottles? I didn't see their size and what kind of use can you get out of one bottle like that, how many minis would you say?

Are the GW inks and paints really that bad for washes and inking? I haven't done much in the way of inking, but I did some washes on some storm troopers that turned out only so-so. I thought it was just because I'm a noob painter. Would recommend those mentioned brands over GW ones, then?

I've only used Reaper Pro's inks, but I've had good luck with the "skin shade" and "wood shade" inks. I have the blue and purple ones, but haven't used them yet.

Still wondering how should I used inks on my Black templars models? Most of my models will be black and white (duh) and I'm probably gonna go with GW inks... What should I use? And should I use some to make faces? I'm already thinking that I'll have some issues with that part of my figurines with no helmets. Ugh... so many questions and yet I don't wanna sound like an idiot.
