My LRC Mine are in the back, too. That's where the instructions told me to put them.

Yep, mine are mounted towards the back also. However, given that you measure range from the weapon, it would have probably made sense to mount them on the front hatch. wolfkin |

My Hurricane are all mounted on the rear access portal, as i thought this was more aesthetically pleasing. But then again i didn't really take into account my men disembarking through the side doors, as if i want to shoot the hurricanes, all my men will need to hit the deck, or suffer TL bolters at very close range!!! I was going to suggest looking at the LRc box for paint schemes, especially as you play BT, and the main picture is of a BT LRc. So take that as the basis for you paint scheme, and then add what ever looks good to you such as the white front and rear panels, it's your LRc after all.

Yeah, putting guns on the back doesn't seem logical. They'd be like "Move move move! Go out the side doors for cover!" then "Oh man! The enemy is closing in! Fire!" Then their own troops would become meat shields for the enemy. Now that sucks. Plus, as wolfkin said, shorter range. But I don't think it matters in the game world. Your bullets go through your own guys! (Well, in Dawn of War at least) RJSuperfreaky, I love your LRC. It's great! You set an example for how all LRCs should be painted (and normal LRs too, for that matter)
