Red from almost black blue too contrasting? I can understand the Enchanted to red, but Midnight?
The significance is the blood which has stained the claws, as the red is at the front of the hand and at the feet.

What for the claws then? Remember that this is going to be on every set.

Something else you could do is paint the lightning claws and hammer hafts black, like the bolter cases, and paint the claws and hammer heads gold like the fists. I'm not sure about the shields though. Gold I suppose.

Also, the fact that the powerfists and opposite greaves are painted gold gives me the impression that there is a symbolic link between CC potency and the golden greave. Thus, paint both of the Assault Termi's greaves gold. It'd help them stand out on the field.

As a side note, I like the idea of giving assault marines beaky heads and devs extra-techy heads. So much in fact, I'm already doing that for the army I'm building. Though I didn't use all beaky heads for assault marines, I mixed in khorne berzerker heads with the headcrest trimmed.
