Usually when I paint white I build it up from light gray with lots of drybrushing, so in the recessed areas you're left with a shadowy look. Otherwise you could lightly drybrush really light gray, I think.

nooooo dryrushing grey over white is not a good look... usally on white terminators, IE ultramarine terminators, they have a build up as so i belive: fortress grey, 50/50 fortress and shadow then 50/50 water and skull and then skull white... and if it looks blobby add watered down skull white... |

well i play black templar so is there a way to do it and avoid a bluish tintl ike the ultramarine terminators on the boxes?

I go (over a black undercoat): Codex grey (thin,smooth coat); space wolves grey (thin, smooth coat); 2 or 3 layers of thinned white to get a good coverage Doing that gives you this |

what i do for my templars is : smooth coat of codex grey. smooth coat of fortress greay. 3 very thin white coats. this comes out very well imo... |
