Hello all.

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong section. I'm planning on adding a few legion-specific Chaos Space Marines to my undivided Black Legion Army. What I was wondering is should I give them the Black Legion badge or their Legions badge. I would prefer to give them their legion-specific badge but I was wondering fluff wise what makes the most sense, as well as would I get complaints from my opponents if they don't all have the same badge (i.e. Black Legions).

I would say go for it, as undivided in it self uses all comers from the different gods. Like black legion hooking up with Thousand sons and Khornre Bezerkers. Some of them paint their armour black to show their allegance to the legion, some of them dont, but i would assume they all still keep their origonal legion badge.

Think deathwatch scheme but useing black legion as a base.:ninja:

I reckon you probably have more luck though if this was moved over to the choas board as well.

In my opinion i would paint the models the same way as the black legion, but keep one shoulder pad the original colour with the legion-specific badge on it. I saw this done somewhere but can't remember where, and it looked quite good :yes:. Plus it would keep the army looking coherant whilst units can be identified easily on the battlefield. Not sure how you could do it on a vehicle (If you want legion specific vehicles that is) possibly painting the doors in the original legion colours?
