hey Orcfisboy try not to Double post ^_^
try not to speak l33t speak much.

umm i think you should probly be...... a Space marine army with traits of take the fight to them? and Pride in your colours? that might be good but i haent polished up on my pre-heresy luna(r?) wolves/Sons of horus fluff. but that would work. or to be abit of a Rebel, you could use a non-chaosy Chaos army. ^_^

I think he wears a suit of Terminator Armour in False Gods. I do know he has a suit on in Galaxy in Flames, though.

@Zezza:
Beautiful. I think your entire army looks superb when viewed as a whole, and must look amazing on the table top. My only beef is with the Colour Scheme (White & Green should be Death Guard, regardless of what the Horus Heresy books might say...), but that's neither here nor there.

hey dude, good job on the Luna Wolves, they look really cool. What combo of colors did you use for them, because im confused on what colors actually are combined to make the color you have.

First, great army and nice conversions, secondly how did you make the armour studs?

Cheers again for the interest in my models guys, cant thank you enough!

the shadow:- the armour studs are dots of pva glue dotted on to the shoulder pads in the proper pattern. I had to do this two or three times to get the height of the studs correct (yes it took ages! but if you do it onto the sprue u can do it in a fraction of the time!)

Mike:- they are basecoated with non-GW primer which is dark grey (any old matt primer will probably do, but i did a few test models to make sure it wasnt goin to ruin my models) . Then they are given a coat or two of fortress grey, leaving the primer in the recesses, then another coat on the edges with skull white in the mix, then a final highlight of pure skull white along the very edges. The rims etc are just black highlighted with codex grey mixed with chaos black.

Caluin:- there miniatures are neither green, or are they death guard, they are black and light grey and they are luna wolves, in most puplications and speculation these are the correct colours, sorry for any confusion though.

and last but not least, PAW! funny u should mention getting hired, but i was offered a job in GW Glasgow based on the manager seeing this army alone! Unfortunately i couldnt accept it, but the whole finished army now is on display there, along with rhinos, dread, termies etc. so its not all bad!

If there is demand for pics of the rest of the army fully done i can post them if you all want!?

Thanks again guys, very much appreciated!
Cheers

"Abaddon possessed both a suit of power armour and suit of Terminator Armour, the former being painted in the standard colours of his Legion, while the latter was primarily black in colouration. This marked him out as a member of the 1st Company elite, all of whom wore black armour.1 Indeed, Abaddon's personal unit was the black-armoured Justaerin Terminator Squad, but he normally left command of it to Captain Falkus Kibre. Little Horus Aximand quipped that this was because Abaddon was actually too big to fit inside a cPanelŽ suit.2 Towards the end of the Great Crusade, Abaddon would only be seen in his black Terminator garb."

thanks for the clarity paregoric_HAL, appreciated! I always knew i was right! haha just kiddin.
the dots on the shoulder pads are done using early learning center pva glue (a kids shop for toys dont laugh its good stuff) but any old pva glue would do. I just used an old brush but im sure a coctail stick would be fine too.
Abbadons shoulder pads are from witch hunted tyrius from the inquisitor range, hence the size! and they have been trimmed down a wee bit too.

Painted pics can be seen at:-

Whole, almost finished army (minus rhino)(scroll down a bit for group shot)
