Man i like them! Im a black legion collector my self they look really good. They have been painted really well. The only bad this is that they dont really look that good from a distance. maybe a bit more colour other than gray?

I think you did a fantastic job, The paint job is a little rough but it is dwarf by the shear amount of conversion that you did and the retro speeders ya got (good job by the way). Cutting off and filing down all those horns most of stunk. Again, good job.

Sweet conversions, and good painting. How did you make the leaders helmet in pic 3+4, and all the helmets in the last (9th) pic?

I like the painting (especially on the speeders), but also your models! Are you putting any ice/snow on the bases?

Cheers for the comments guys, its really good when hard work is appreciated.
The leaders helmet is that of an iron warrior with the horns and chaosy bits removed then filed down. The helmets for the tac squad are from the chaos plastic aspiring champ again with the chaos bits removed.

I was planning to add snow to the bases but i didnt have any basing material for it so just decided to go with brown with debris and stuff on them.
I know what u mean about the colours, the plasma guns and bases are there to give a wee bit more colours but I wanted to remain true to the simple legion colours.

Cheers again guys, any more pointers or comments would be great!

Excellent work. Nice job of converting Abaddon. On one model, it looks like you've taken the Chaos Aspiring Champion head and cut off the horns. The helment really look pre-heresy.

Zezza,
Great job.
You have obviously put as much thought into your choice of parts as you have the conversions and painting, and I think it really pays off, in the excellent result.
I especially like the Terminators, the use of 'Tyrus' shoulder guards works very well.
Someone suggested introducing some colour, and as I assume you've seen all the artwork for the Ben Counter novels about Horus. The cover of 'Galaxy in Flame' had the rims of the Marine shoulder guards in a deep green that looked good (assuming it's a company colour coding).
Like the retro land speeder didn't know you could still get those.
Ash

p.s what are you using to make all the rivets/bumpy bits on armour from?
