Nice pred. I like it and the bullet holes are they painted on or actually dug in holes ?

Nice tank man. I like the turret and the sponsons. Nice work on the bullet holes as well.

Woo! Mk1. Predator!
Well, I suppose it's a subjective thing, but I much prefer the new ones.

Well, painting.
The colours are nice and smooth, but lacking in a little depth. A bit of shading around the whiteish joins would really help bring it to life. I know it is hard with such flat surfaces, but a little more work on the white will really pay off. You've done some on the turret, but you need to take it a few steps further, and apply it across the rest of the model.

I don't really like the damage and weathering, it doesn't seem anywhere near as sophisticated to me. GW has some decent articles online about weathering, it is definately worth checking them out.

Finally, I think you need to add some legion markings to the predator, it just seems too empty and plain as it is. A large wolf face-icon across the front panel, combined with some company/vehicle (and maybe kill) markings on the turret would really bring it to life.

Keep up the good work mate, when are you going to have Abaddon and those termies done?

-t.

Cheers for the comments dudes, yeh the bullet holes are carved in with a pin vice, with rust and stuff painted on.
As for the dirt and stuff, ive tried a few things but most of them look guff on a white/grey tank, but i might try again at some point. About the legion markings, i maybe would have done some before the battle damage, but even so im not great at freehand and wouldnt want to mess it up.

I coulda went for the new pred, but wheres the novelty in that! Plus my army is pre heresy so an old pred would be more fitting. The termies and Abaddon might be done next, but i have a MK4 Dread which is mighty tempting.

We shall see!

Cheers again
