Welcome to Librarium Online!
Ok, I need someone to teach my how not to suck at Starcraft, I play Terran so im not sure how a Zerg player could help but just tell me if your interested!
It's been a minute.
It's all about time management, most especially at the outset. The key is to get a good supply income while simultaneously keeping your base decently defended. Once that's complete, work on building up a large attack force (which will also further defend your base). Unless you're fighting more than one enemy, send them all in at once while immediately building up a second wave (which can be smaller, depending on how well your first force does). Que upgrades gradually, and not until your first force is getting some good numbers produced.
I don't have a lot of specific advice for you, I'm afraid. Playing against one opponent at a time, I have a lot of luck getting 8 SCV's on the field right away, and putting 2 on gas. Supply Depot next, then more SCV's. Then work on a Barracks and get a small handful of Marines trained. I like to have 10 SCV's on crystals, and 2 or 3 on gas. My attack waves are usually a full 10 command-grouped squads of whatever. Ah, and give a Marine/Siege Tank combo a try, using defensive offense (deploy tanks in siege mode, set up a firing line around them, and use a few Marines to draw enemy untis into your trap. When there aren't many left in the area, launch a full-on attack! Kind of a heavier version of Death Guard tactics...). Not the only way to roll by any means, but it can work wonders!
man I'd love to teach you but I don't have sc anymore is it broodwar or sc? I could maybe link you to some tactic sites
