Has anyone here got much experience with it?
I stopped playing WoW due to lack of time, but now i have abit more time on my hands, so am looking for a new game to play (or maybe ill go back to WoW). AoC caught my attention, and i was wondering if anyone could give me an idea if it is worth it? Someone has already said that my computer needs to be up to scratch, but that wouldnt be a problem.
One of my friends has it and I tried it. It was ok, wasn't all what I expected, but then again, I only went like 30mins. into the game.
Character creation is very indebted. Fighting style is unique. World is Huge!
From what I remember for the minimum requirements for your computer, is that atleast 1G of RAM. Can't remember the other requirements. >.<
All religion, my friend is simply evolved out of fraud, greed, imagination and poetry.

The system specs are high, and if you don't have the recommended across the board, expect ALOT of lag even on low. The GFX engine has been badly optimized.
RP-PVP server, no RP, and no rules are enforced.
PVP is nothing but ganking and greifing.
PVE, especially as a Soldier architect you can solo every single quest with your eyes closed (Literally)
Funcom is starting to censor the game, so soon it will probably be a T rating.
Their is fun to be had....But over all, don't waste you time.
EDIT: The combat system is great, and the fact that is WAS rated M was also great. Those 2 reasons alone i'm not going to get WaR, seriously they ****ed up on that game.
Combat systems sucks hardcore, just like all other with that static crap, and it does not have the feel of the Warhammer universe what so ever in my opinion. No violence what so ever.
EDIT #2 All around Funcom is pretty incompetent.

I have yet to see anything censored, so it may have been urban rumors. The developers seem to be quite proud of that M-rating, and the community appreciates this a lot.
Combat, as has been mentioned, is a lot of fun - since it's a littlebit more challenging and action-like than the usual "target enemy and keep pushing buttons 1 and 2" you see in so many other MMOs. I actually beheaded another player out of mistake because I wanted to help him... and seriously underestimated the swinging range of my two-handed sword.
At least on the German RP-PvP server, there's a lot of roleplaying going around, if you look at certain focus-points, so I'm happy about that as well. The Destiny-Questline is truly epic and feels like playing a movie (granted, this part of the game pretty much feels like a single-player adventure), although the normal quests on the other hand are what I'd consider MMO-standard.
