    Fallout 3

    Evening all!

I noticed in the most anticipated thread that a few people were looking forward to Fallout 3, so I thought I would get a thread going about peoples thoughts on the game!

Who is looking at getting the game?

I've been a fan of the Fallout series from the first game. The original games were amazing, massive adventure games where you could pretty much do anything! I was really chuffed when they announced that they were going to make a third, but a bit gutted when they said it was going to be an FPS.

I must say though, that it is looking pretty good from the videos and photos about. Just looking forward to it now!

    Thoughts?

Well it's nothing compared to Fallout 2 but it's still a great game!
A little too oblivion for my taste.

The oblivion-esque? Is it free roaming with lots customization?

Sorry for the questions but I was looking at this game and didn't buy it because I knew so little about it.

Pretty much. You can tell its made by Bethesda, it has to be said.
I like Fallout 3, I loved 1 and 2, and believe Bethesda made a good tranferance with it into the more FPSRPG genre. I find it feels ALOT like a combionation between Oblivion and Halflife (I'm not totally sure why, but it does remind me alot of HalfLife style games).

I sure hope it doesn't take on all of what bethesda turns out, mainly bugs and glitches. I nearly messed up my oblivion game because of those!

Theres a few, but to be totally honest I haven't seen TOO many (I saw My dog, and someone elses dog, get stuck underneath the floor at one point, but they both got out eventually, and those really are the only gitches I have seen so far.)

I had this happen a times, and the PIP boy doesnt diiferentiate between levels. Just remember all the Vaults are laid out more or less the same.

Which one is it? the one where everyone has a rage like virus, or the hallucinating one?

All the other vaults are cccrraaaazy

it's the hallucinating one with the crazy people in. I'll get out eventually. Lol, i'm playing as evil so the stupid kid won't let me in the cavern and i gotta do the paradise quest. Can't I just shoot him?

Difference between fallout three and oblivion- in fallout three there are toilets and children. Everyone in oblivion has been neutered and superglued up.
