Welcome to Librarium Online!
or does order not have a clue how to fight RVR, on both kaines embrace and pheonix gate the elves get thier butts handed to them a ridiculous amount of the time
Destruction players know how to do it tanks and melee fight healers and buffers stand at the back and well heal and buff - the forces of order on the other hand run round like lunatics trying to kill things they really cant (a mage vs a black orc five levels higher seriously how do you think thats going to end?)
Anytime an order player comes along who actually knows what hes doing gets generally ignored. Grabbing the flag dont be silly lets stand here and get killed instead whilst those people who are trying to get the flag end up being unsupported and cut to ribbons.
Sorry just had to rant about this because its annoying me no end sick of doing RVR and losing 95% of the time - dunno how other RVRs go but the elven one sucks majorily. Its enough to make me switch to destruction if it wasnt for the reknown id have given up on RVR a long time ago
WELL SAID, NO MORE SQUATS THEY ARE DEAD GET OVER ITOriginally Posted by artificer
well. this is the very same on my server, how do you fix the problem? go to Empire/Dwarf Zones. order seems to do better in those. also it could be that order is almost outnumbered 2 to 1 on every server
Tau 12/1/3 (3000 pts)
IG 4/1/0 (2500 pts)
SM 3/1/0 (1500 pts)
CSM 1/0/1 (1500 pts)(W/D/L )
Really, the way to fix the problem is to get in a guild, and play these scenarios with 4-5 other group mates who know what they're doing, and who are using a voice chat client like Vent. That's how Myrmidon rolls, and we win almost every scenario we play, usually by victorious slaughter. Honestly, it's night and day. I was a bit below the rest of my guild mates (well, I still am) due to difficulty deciding what to play (so many cool classes!), so for quite a while I was running scenarios in pick-up groups like you're describing, and getting as frustrated as you sound (because I agree with you that the majority of Order players seem less competent in RvR situations than their Destruction counterparts). But as soon as I hit the same tier as the rest of the core guild members (tier 3), everything turned around, and it was Destruction who were losing 500 to 20.
So yeah, I'd encourage you to find yourself a competent guild that runs these things together with some coordination via voice chat. Having tanks that guard you, healers that heal you, and dps classes that focus-fire on the right targets makes all the difference.
