Never judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes...by that time they'll be a mile away, and have no shoes
Snake  solid snake games are awesome, he would win
'It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees'-Pancho Villa
'You're not to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it'-Malcolm X
Snake, here is why.
In actual game terms, Sam Fisher can do more moves. However that is only due to their company spending more money making the game.
Logically, Solid Snake would win. First of all, Snake has a stealth suit. We all know it is capable of invisibility, and mabye even blocks out thermal vision.
Second, Solid Snake has had much more experience than Sam Fisher. Shadow Moses??? Big Shell??? These are most likely only the major things Snake has done. We don't even know his minor operations. Plus, we don't even know how much VR training Snake has had. Plus his affiliation with Fox-Hound, also.
Third, Snake has gone toe-to-toe with some of the most deadly mercenaries, bounty hunters, serial killers, hitmen, and terrorists ever to walk the surface of the earth.
Fourth, Snake is a clone of the most deadly infiltrator/killer ever, Big Boss. I would assume that they upgraded ALL the Snakes, Solid, Liquid and Solidus to be better than Big Boss.
Fifth, Snake is probably younger. And being younger means you're more fit, thus able to handle more stress, situations faster and quicker. Snake's VR and actual field experience are not all based around stealth. He is a good real-time combatist as well as an expert infiltrator.
"And whoever wants to be a creator in good and evil, must first be an annihilator and break values. Thus the highest evil belongs to the greatest goodness: but this is--being creative."
~ Friedrich Nietzsche ~
I agree with all of that except forbecause as we all know Snake smokes. Snake smokes alot. But anyway snake also has actual guns.Fifth, Snake is probably younger. And being younger means you're more fit, thus able to handle more stress, situations faster and quicker.
00:12:50-) (+Hard_Aun|sleepage) anyway, three months back i got out of bed and came downstairs loud, fast and naked with a club

Solid Snake of course =^___^=
For one, I prefer the games. I felt the sotry was a much more fun one in the Metal Gear lot.
Plus I prefer snakes character, as well as the others in the games too.

He wasn't in vietnam... your probably think the third MGS is in vietnam but it isn't in vietnam it's somewhere in USSR (i think...) anyway Solid Snake's first mission was in 1995 where he inflitrated (sp?) Outer Heaven.Wasn’t snake in Vietnam? That would put him in his late 30's at least, possibly into his 40's if he took part in the early part of the war.
anyway back to the topic... I think they're both are an even match.
