I have read the book and it was amazing. Now i'm ready to play the adventure. I think after the release of ODST we will be able to see what Bungie is capable of for next year.
The objective of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his" - General George S. Patton
Looks Pretty good. I jussh they'd let Halo die though.
Vampire Counts Progress Log [W:2 D:1 L:1]
Personally, I don't think Halo should go anywhere. It's earned its place as a fantastic game series with iconic characters and gameplay. I'm a big Halo fan (though not a fanboy) and I think Halo: Reach has some pretty solid potential. It will be nice to get away from the Master Chief for a while.
shrug, i'll play through it once, and once again to get all the achievements, but that'll be about that. the campaign gameplay is enjoyable enough to play through a couple times on co-op but never cared for the halo multiplayer nor especially the storyline or characters; and, yes i did read a couple fo the books during downtime few years back, but some of the twists they try to pull are just too ...nonsensical.
so will most likely be just a renter like the rest of the halo games for myself.
i think the thing that ruins the franchise the most for me is the fanbois, as in the ones that practically worship that game or just simply take playing it way too seriously; but people like that for most any game turn me off (just like the all the warhammer fanbois at the GW keep me from going in to play).
