Mech 3 was the end of the line for me. When they changed the game into more of a FPS mech game it didnt sit well with me.
Mech 2 Mercs was the best in the series in my eyes, goste bear was good though.
There is going to be another mechwarrior game out? Hmmm don't have much hopes for it thou...seeing how the previous mechwarriors came out.
MW4 Mercenaries is a ton of fun. Vengance and Black Knight were just too boring to get through. MechCommander was probably my favorite video game ever though
It does seem to be, and a nice one at that.
I've got every single Battletech PC game except for the MW3 expansion and Ghost Bear's legacy. Including Crecent Hawk's Inception and Revenge. And they're all good fun. Right now, I'm hooked on MW4 Mercs, simply because I have my old Marauder back, in all of it's unseen glory! Glee!
It's with the MekTek expansion pack. Download it from www.mektek.net
Burn the land and boil the sea. You can't take the sky from me.
Member of the Canadian Clan, eh.
Mech Tau Cadre: 2000 points, needs paint and magnets.
Paladins of Avalon (SW):-1500 points, needs paint.
Well the only mech games I really played (As in the full version) were the 2 mech commanders. Those were great! In the first one, I loved the intro cinematic, and the graphics were the bomb. Something about small mechs, kinda pixelized, shooting at eachother and vehicles just gives me a great feeling. In the second one, I loved the graphics yet again. Sure, they were blocky 3D, but they weren't Warcraft 3 blocky, and the game was still very very fun.
I don't know much about the mechwarrior series, but I tried a demo of a few of em. Really confusing, theres like a billion buttons you need to press to do stuff.
