    Driver /Dawn of War problems

Latley I've been having trouble with my computer drivers in general, just like games I'm playing will randomly shut off and say there was an error. And it says that the error probably has something to do with drivers. I'm not the best with computers, so does anyone have any ideas on how to help me? I am going crazy here.

    1. What Windows OS are you running? Try to get latest patches/ bugfixes/ etc for it that have been released.
    2. Get latest Direct X version.
    3. Get the latest _official_ drivers for your hardware, uninstall the old ones and reinstall the new (altough it's a pain in the *** to do).

1.I'm running windows xp, pretty sure I have all the latest stuff for it

2.I'm 80% sure on directx, I'll check when I get home

    3. I've installed the latest driver software for my motherboard/Vid card, but I didn't try un-installing and then installing. I'll try the un-installation first like you said.

    Thanks

To say the truth, I also had trouble once with DOW demo - not sure what caused them, because some time later they just went "poof" and were never heard of again.

Just as a precaution, you might want to check the fan on your card and make sure it's still working.

I had the same problem you describe on my precious ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and it turned out that the fan burned out because it collected too much dust.
