Have any of you guys seen it?
What do you make of it?
My first thoughts were. What the the hell is going on here? How the hell am I going to play games with that. After reading about it though, i must admit I am fairly psyched about it. The possibilities are endless. I just hope it won't turn many people off.............
Do you have a link or a picture of it? I haven't heard of it.
it looks... wonky? i'm not sure there is a word to describe it... it looks just plain weird. haven't seen any descriptions of how it works... but those nintendo people are always coming up with weird controllers... remember the n64 one? half the games only used either the middle or the right side for movement and such. i wonder how it will work.
I dont like the way it looks, how the hell are you supposed to play any games on it. It looks like a remote control for a dvd player, not for a next gen system. But I'd actually have to use it, and play some games to say whether or not I like it. For all who havent seen it here it is http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/09...s_6133335.html.
Iron Warriors 9/1/0 (w/l/d)
World Eatters 15/1/0
There you go.
It works like a 3d mouse, seemingly.
go to www.ign.com to see the Gamecube controller like add on to that 'nunchuck' controller.
I admit it is pretty nifty.
But it will not stop 360 domination this coming november.
Too bad nintendo dudes have to wait more months after
worse for ps3.. coming out later, And much more exspensiver + you have to buy seperate hard drive.. heh ouch.
Yes possibilities are endless.
But most argued, is the Revolution, due to its size strong? I feel that ultimate multi platforming games will not always be compatible to revolution due to its spec capabilities.
Yes.. its cool to be more active in the game.. but right... you see 4 people with the nunchuck controllers wanding around... kinda looks retarded at glance.
Lots of wrist action.. talking about repetitive hand motions? Might get yourself hurt lol. or a workout i guess.
fps? yeah its like pc, but revolution will not have the solid FPS titles. They will have some. Just some.
360 is fps machine anywho.
I have gotten my school to say WTf, looking at that controller.
PS3 has far better internals than 360 or Rev, its 35 times more powerful than the ps2, the 360 is only 10 times more, and I believe Rev is 12 times.
Has anyone noticed, that all three compaines are making there controllers really wierd and crappy?
Tau - Knights of the Frozen Wastes
Necrons - The Phalanx of Gleaming Death
CSM - Iron Warriors

ofcourse ps3 has better internals. It is going to be killer I know. List Cost, is still undefined.Originally Posted by chaos0xomega
Question now, when ps3 comes out,
I believe revolution will come out before ps3 (due to high cost of specs and developement), now the question is, will people purchase: The cheaper Next Gen console or the really exspensive one? Hmm Cheaper has always been a fan of the public.. so lets say ps3 loses 'Some' potential buyers.
Seeing how 360 is coming out this November. I want to see some poor souls wait to play some next gen games, 6-12 month wait.(ofcourse nintendofanboys can always wait
Hmm well okay.. loses some giving up buyers to 360.
I will be laughing once ps3 owners finally get their hands on Morrowind Oblivion
Oh not to mention Halo 3 releasing right when Ps3 launches. Hmm...
Now the more question comes: Ps3, oh you say its 35x strong yep.
But lets say this: Some developers are already complaining that developing for the 360 would cost 'more' opposed to developing to Nintendo Revolution.
Truth is. More stronger = More Costly for developement. Not as if all 35x power is used.
Not to mention 3rd party companies Will develope for Revolution due to a non large jump specs. As those companies do not have enough money to spend and catch up with the strong stuff.
As for controllers Crappy?:
360 = Hasnt changed much.
Rev = It has the Gamecube like add on to the Stick. People will say wtf to it no doubt. Its potential it can hold.
Ps3 = It is no where said, 'Final' design. Though ps3 current controllers... looks.. rather.. unstraight.. curvy..
The Rev. Controller looks a little wierd, but I guess there's a reason for that. ^_^
It certainly looks like it could easily lost and/or misplaced. My initial thought was that it was more like a TV remote.
Personally i don't like it, seeing how it's held from some of the pictures i've seen, it seems like it will be very hard to get to the a and b buttons. I also don't like the overuse of plugins - that's a lot of drawer space, and some bits that could be easily lost. It'll be especially bad for me, as i'm always losing the remote down the side of the sofa.
I think also, the design will be shunned for more conventional controller designs - for example, your hands can "rest" on an xbox controller s - it's nice and chunky and the sticks and shoulder triggers are fairly well positioned that you can rest your fingers on them during play - with the revolution controller, i see many players having to rest their hands on each thigh while playing, due to the way you have to hold the main body of the controller, which could raise unforseen problems.
