 of course. what did you expect from GW? that they would let another potential money-making product go? hopefully it's as good as DoW. we have high hopes for you GW! ^_^Originally Posted by Zanzibar
Thanks for posting the link. ^_^
It's a pity it won't work on my computer. >(
Yep, I am stoked about this announcement too! I can't wait for this to come out.
I really wonder how it'll compare to DoW. You've got to bear in mind that a different company is developing the game. Will it play exactly like DoW? I doubt that. I think it will be more tactically demanding.. and obviously have a different feel to it.
Look at some of the pictures and you'll see a resemblance to, say, Age of Empires in that the units line up in ranks, just like in Warhammer. I think it will be more tactically minded, not that I've played Dawn of War, but every picture I've seen of that game shows two rival mobs just smashing into each other.
Zanzibar you are correct. However, look at this picture. Shown correctly ( ^_^ ) the High Elves are formally ranked, whereas the Goblins are a scrambling rabble.
Has anyone noticed the pictures only show Goblins, not Orcs?
And, the Handgunners certainly look better than the models do! =]
Greenskins aren't a playable race, they only appear as Dogs of War .
Thanks. I've now read the whole article. I wonder what specs you'll need to play it. :hmm:Originally Posted by Zanzibar
I think this game will be more like Battle for Middle-Earth than Age of Empires. First of all i inferred that there will be build areas like in the battle for middle-earth. Second of all it said that you could also have a small force or a very large force if the need arises, also like the battle for middle-earth.
