Well. I'll be picking up SOCOM III soon (within 2-3 days). I was a big player of SOCOM II, and I'm hoping to see a lot of the worse things of the previous game fixed. I've heard a lot of mixed feelings, however, of the game, from it being wonderful to it outright being horrendous.
So, I'm asking if anyone has played it yet, and how does it play? Compared to SOCOM II? Campaign/Online? I've heard the swimming features are awesome, the movement controls/shooting controls are pretty much the same, grenades are radically different, and the vehicles are "okay."
My name will probably be what I had it as for SOCOM II:
Looking forward to any replies. ^_^
I just played it half an hour ago and grenades are not much different. Vehicles are great!(Dune buggy!) Weapon customization rocks. I have a M16A2 with a sniper scope and grenade launcher for max ranged havoc. Smimming is fun for the first few minutes. My only complaint is the guns feel very inaccurate. However, I only played campaign.
