If you guys need to know anything else, tell me, I'll put it up as soon as I can.
Oh, no one delete this. I know there are other threads about this, none of them answered my questions though. So I ask here, right now in this new thread. If you could, respond quick. I want to play my frikkin' game and can't play it...
how are we supposed to answer your question when you havent even told us what your problem is.
Oh damn, sorry about that. I was trying to do something else to download DirectX.
I get a 'spooge' error when I try to play DOW. Apparently I don't have DirectX, yet I have it on my computer. I'm about to try something though, so if that fails, I'll be back here to report the failure and ask a question.
Nope, that didn't work.
But, the 'Spooge Error' came up again. It asks me to 'verify' that DirectX is installed correctly. I...just don't know what to do!
It's really ticking me off...

Alright, I got that downloaded. Do I need to do anything else before I try to open up DOW again?
It looks like I downloaded that before though, can't hurt to download again...
Alright, it downloaded. There's still a problem though. My screen resolution sucks, how do I change that?
Damnit! That little slider thing I have to move, it won't let me move it. How the hell do I fix my frikkin' computer? One problem ends, another problem begins.
Alright, I cleared my computer of all unwanted stuff. Restored my memory to before I installed DOW. Then shut down my computer for over thirty minutes.
Now! It won't even let me install DOW. It just keeps freezing. What do I do?

I dunno why it'd be freezing, but if you get it to be installed, then make sure that your graphics card drivers are updated (go on the Nvidia site for that) and that you have the latest version of DirectX. If it asks for DirectX again when you play, maybe try reinstalling DirectX. Or restarting, you need to reboot after you install DirectX.
