    Never winter Nights

I was just curious how many LO'ers have this game, As I'm thinking about putting together an online module that will try and blend some Stratigic battle elements into the game. After a quick looks on the NWN boards there are modules that have similar ideas, for blending RTS in ,but sofar I havn't found one thats excatly like what I want to build. spesificly they all seem to be very quick to have a victory condition. I'd like to build one thats a little more persistant.

I'm still working on the full concept Outline for the module. I'll likely post it up here in the next couple of day's, once I get the idea solidified.

If you think the idea is interesting, and you'd like to play it and/or work on it let me know.

I have this game and it is very good currently i am playing the online module Escape fromt the underdark. Although an RTS version would be interesting to see in use.

I have the game and I think you have a great idea. I'm not sure what exactly it is you are planning to do, and I assume from your profile you are in British Colombia so I don't know what sort of time differences that would create for me to help you out.

But I will help if I can.

Yeah The idae is still a little vauge, like I said I'm still fleshing it out. But being that it's going to be a RTS mod, here's a couple ideas that I intend to implement.

-2 'teams' split down by alignment. either Good vs Evil, or Chaotic vs Lawful
-Neutral characaters will be mercaneries, with more focus on plot.
    -Player created towns
-NPC's that can be commanded on the field of battle.
-Tech trees retlated to both of the above.

-10 areas that can be 'captured' by either team

-Pseudo random adventuring areas, that will adapt to player levels.

-winning the war will require a dragon run, and will require high level characters.

More to come when I get the detailed outline finished.

Nice to see most of the #warhammerfun IRC members chatting about this. We are having a bit of a Neverwinter Nights emphasis on IRC at the moment, looking at various multi-player maps etc. , so lets collaborate wherever possible.

Ryan Dancey, Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, believed that TSR failed because of "...a near total inability to listen to its customers, hear what they were saying, and make changes to make those customers happy." Are you listening, Games Workshop ?
