Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'm not really sure this is the right place... But is the general opinion on psp high? Because, my parents said I could get one for my birthday, and I want to know if most of everybody has had good experiences with it. Thanks

How come everybody else on this forum has 400 wins to 2 loses? I smell cheese.... and beef... sandwich!
What was Rogal Dorn doing when the Sanguinius and the Emporer got killed???
Woohoooo I killed the treeman!!! :)
I killed the Glade riders too!!!! :)
I love my PSP and I'm glad I bought it. This is really simply because I don't have the opportunity to play games at home much anymore, while I can bring my PSP with me. Hooking up a TV and PS2 during lunch is a bit hard... but I can sit in my cube and button mash just fine on the PSP. The GBA or DS is probably a better deal though.
You play your game, I'll play mine.
Definitly get it, when it came out it was bad, but now that it has some good games going for it definitly. I recommend also getting 1 gb-2gb memory space so you can have music and some videos (or a combination of both!)
It depends. I'm not a fan of handhelds, because I rather play a much better system in my free time, for example a Computer, Xbox 360, Gamecube, PS2 (Wii, PS3 when they come out) etc. rather then playing a handheld, such as the psp.
The only reason I'd ever get a handheld is to play on long trips, or places where I don't have access to something better. Or, maybe your out somewhere, and have nothing to do.
Other then that, it's a pretty good handheld, although it's expensive. Iv'e never played it, but I hear it's really good, so if you're interested in handhelds then I'd go for it.
You might also want to check out the Nintendo DS. It has pros of it's own, and is cheaper.
I'd say no. I got one last year, and played Lumines and Wipeout Pure a lot for like, a month or so. Then I started taking it with me places and watching UMD's on it, and then I started playing old SNES and GameBoy ROMs on it (I dunno if this is even possible with the newer firmware; I've never updated)... now I'm thinking about selling it because I almost never use it. The UMD's look cool but are kind of a gimmick if you have a laptop or a portable DVD player, MP3 player I never used because I have an iPod, probably about the coolest thing was the ROMs -- but then, everything you do (movies, music, save games) have to go on a memory stick, and only a 32mb one comes with the system... so that's another $60-100 for a decent sized card (like 512 or 1gb) -- err anyway I guess if you do a lot of handheld gaming you would like it, as it does have some cool games to offer. You'd be better off starting a new Warhammer army though

I personally prefer the Nintendo DS as with many of on the PSP are not very parctical and there are other media systems which do those things better.
this might be a little forum lurking, but go to my expansive list of my favorate DS games under the topic DS (it might have something else in the title)
i need to find something interesting to put here
Ok Scotty, jokes over... NOW BEAM UP MY CLOTHES!
I got one just for the internet access. I havent even played a game on it yet.
I think the last few posts, although some put down the psp are showing its strengths ie,
Great games, better graphics than the DS (Ps i have played ds games frequently so i know this is true.
Better battery life than a portable DVD player.
I say go for it, i use mine every day.
