This game is looking super-uber-awesome.
You'll notice the Broadside has some Forge-World elements to it (shoulder plates, ankles, parts of the chest).
The commander apparently looks like a Masculinized version of Shadowsun (which makes sense, as our commanders can be tough to pick out), but is not, you can load different weapons on him.
Half Gods are worshiped with Wine and Flowers. Real Gods are worshiped in Blood.

Conversely, stealth suits are a lot lighter than you'd think. They have stealth function, that works just like dark templar from starcraft. If the enemy doesn't have detector units, they can't do anything back to you. But there are a lot of detector units. (all commanders, turrets, most scouts, some others I presume) Conversely, if there are detectors, the stealth suits die really easy, easier than FW. A little weird I think. Overall it works, though. Skyrays, were suprisingly useful, had a bombard funtion.
Oh, one more thing. You can get pathfinders, and no, you don't need a Devil fish for them. heh.
I found the demo pretty cool. Actually enjoyed using the kroot (never use them in 40k, more for aesthetic reasons than tactical ones) and the suits are pretty cool too.
Not so sure about the upgrade your multimelta for a plasma gun and keep your flamer option on commander. They dont seem to fight like fast tau. the army is kinda static (thanks to the pulse rifles requirement to be stationary to fire) The fire power of firewarriors seems to high and stealth suits too low. overall it works pretty well though.
I really like the idea of the map campaign and wargear upgrades (though I'm guessing it will be a case of level up the wargear as opposed to select different types) chainsword to powersword to Thunder hammer type thing.
Dont know why they included the new squads that they did. Grey Knights? Why not a space marine unit like bikes or the vindicator
Finally, no Earth caste i the game, building is done by drones which kinda irked me, i wanted to see some Earth Caste tau.
Altogether though, looking forward to it. Roll on october!!
