A question that is on every C&C 3 player’s mind when it comes to multiplayer.
How the #ell do you defeat a mammoth rush. They destroy tank, air and infantry units there is no weak point!
So I’ve set up this debate to discuss and hopefully find the best Anti Mammoth Tactic
(Apart from blow up their base first and fight back with you own mammoths)

My guess would be loads of light vehicles. Bikes do wonders in big squads. Fanatics also work great. I don't think mammoth's detect stealth, so minefields would be handy but not like the winning key. If you see em coming from far, even the Nod bombers could be of any use, though the require some "skills" where you have to make sure you set the target where the mammoth most likely will be when it drops the bomb. You could even drive in with a big squad of buggy's and EMP them offline.
Rush the GDI early. Mammoths are right at the top of the tech tree, and are individually very expensive. If you can keep the pressure on the enemy from early on, he won't have the resources to build a large number of mammoths.
Don't turtle, and you'll find the gdi have to use lower tech level units to keep you off, therefore diverting resources to defending his base. He'll have to rely on predators and infantry to most of the dirty work, which makes things much more even vs your own tanks and infantry.
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
agreed, a "mammoth rush" doesnt sound right to me, as it's damn hard to rush with the last unit you can build...
if anything, use stealth to block or slow him, with a well placed line of turrets, he wont be able to reach your disruption towers easily, giving you time to wear him down.. at the same time, start assaulting his base with your own forces (avatar's will obviously be yours by now, and with laser tank's scavenged you'll be giving out alot of firepower) to draw him back..
