Okay, so I want to have computers as one of th subjects on my maturity exam... problem is, that I'll need to learn a programming language in order to pass the exam.

So far, I know a little about JavaScript, HTML, also ran through some Pascal course for children , and finally tried my hand at writing script for a TP-based hexadecimal file editor (script done, works pretty flawlessly).

Now, the thing is that I have to be ready in next 7 months. What programming language would you advise?

Hmm, when I studied programing I never had it for more than 3 months, each course where about 50 - 100 hours in total.
Btw, I read Java and C++ so I would recommend them.

Try Delphi. Its like pascal, but grown up, so you should be able to get into it fairly easily.

    I recommend JAVA.
Syntax and concepts are very similar to JScript.
Object Orientated (So is C++, and Delphi [I think]), so very "macro-logical" if you know what I mean.

I would recommend Python. It is a very powerful language that is used in a lot of servers because it is very versatile, very fast and, most importantly in my eyes, very lucid.

If you want a fairly easy introduction to it, check out the Livewires Python intro. It takes you through fairly simple procedures and just introduces you to how Python works.

    Just my two cents,
