Here is my Firefox config values I played with.
Tested with my 2.0mbit DSL connection.

Not for dial-up users!

To start:
Open Firefox.
Type "about:config" in the adress bar.
Find these options, double click each one and change to below values:
Code:
network.http.max-connections: 48

network.http.max-connections-per-server: 24

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 12

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 6

network.http.pipelining: true

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: 32

network.http.proxy.pipelining: true
After changing into these values, close your firefox browser windows and start up again!

Enjoy your browsing

i tried this, it made it slower. i have broadband, but it is sent via a wireless network. its speed is about 24.0Mbps.

I have a DSL connection, it says 100.0 mbps, but I doubt it. Anyways, this made everything much faster! Thanks!
