Welcome to Librarium Online!
Nite started his Everblight blog, which was a great and interesting idea so I decided to copy it for my own faction: The Trollbloods!
I'll be doing much of the same when I get the equipment, but for the moment I will write out Campaign ideas, Batreps, and stupid stories that go along with everything I do.
So without further ado here is the story of how I came to collect Trolls in the first place.
During the time Warmachine was getting into it's second or third book (Can't remember) I was already getting bored with my Khador. One, I didn't have too many models and used mostly my friends stuff. Two, it was easy to win with at the time and even varying it up didn't make things more difficult for me. Plus I was tired of giant robots having titanic brawls for their masters, if you can believe it. Around this time the HORDES book was released in our store and everyone was jumping aboard since it could work with Warmachine and introduced new factions.
Instantly most people knew who they were grabbing. I was going to get the Everblight box, my best friend was getting Skorne (Looked Khadorish), and we had someone getting the Circle. All's well right? Just when I was about to buy the Everblight box another kid there buys it, along with all other models in, I was seriously pissed and bummed, but decided to let it go. With no other choice I picked up the Trollbloods, who no one wanted because they looked uninteresting and weak compared to the others.
I decided that this could be a challenge, prove the others wrong and show what trolls really can do!
Naturally, I was crushed my first few games.
So I sat down and thought hard on what to do, who to buy, and how to exploit some weaknesses. I picked up Doomshaper, a Mauler, and the Champions box and challenged everyone again. This tme I was victorious on all account, even winning a fatal four way with all factions (Two going after me specifically). Even at this point in time no one else wants to play Trolls, and that's just fine with me.
I've grown to like the a lot, so much so that I disdain my Khador in favor of Trolls at all times. With the new book I have even more toys to play around with. Borka Kegslayer especially won me over, he expresses all the seriousness and comical relief I've come to love about them. Currently I'm working on an infantry heavy force with him and a few light Warbeasts (Frost and Pyre Troll combination sounds fun).
My current models are:
Casters: Ironhide, Doomshaper, and Kegslayer.
Beasts: Mauler, 1x Axer, 2X Impalers, 1x Pyre.
Troops: Champions box, Scattergunners box, Bushwhackers box.
Solo's: 1x Fellcaller.
On my wish list:
Grim Angus, Blitzer, troll Kinsmen (or w.e) with full troops and St.Bearer/Musician, Krielstone Bearer, and Longstriders.

Glad to hear it SM!
Trolls have all the fluff and rules tha I want in a faction, but I personally don't like the models. Circle has the models I love, but not the fluff nor the rules. And then of course, the faction that I own being Legion Go figure.
Borka is really wonderful, and just down right mean against melee armies. Grim would probably fit pretty well with the models you have now, once you get your krielstone in there. All in all you got some great stuff that I'm sure you enjoy playing. One of the many things I love about this game is that most everything can find a home in your lists and they perform alright.
Hope to hear moer as time goes on.
16,000+ of Eldar (only need flyers)
7,000+ of Nids (want heirophant)
6,000+ of Space Marines (need rever titan)
4,400+ of Cygnar (all models for the faction)
1,500+ of Legion (just started)
Glad to hear you could take inspiration from my blog and I look forward to reading more of your exploits (I may nick a few ideas from time to time, but that's just exercising my rights as the source of your insipration! Moo hoo ha ha ha!). I don't know quite what to make of Trollbloods, mainly because my only opponent at the moment is Circle, but they seem to be quite straightforward and devastating on the offensive, but probably with more staying power than my Legion. Do you have any sort of strategy or theme for the list that you want to explore? At the moment I'm just picking stuff that I think looks cool and then building my list around that. (*huggles Carnivean*)
Right now I'm picking up different units to try out. I plan to make a Northern tribe of Trollbloods around Borka Kegslayer with a strong Celtic theme. I don't mind the stealing, I'll do the same as well lol.
It's true the Trollbloods can be played straight forward pretty easily, I've seen a few units and combinations that can work in a tricky way. Like Doomshaper and three Maulers, brutal but trickey. Grim Angus seems like a good caster for keeping opponent's on their toes with his Bait special rule.
Yeah Tarzen Hordes and Warmachine won me over with the variety of great units that are tourney worthy as well as (More or less) Balance between all the factions.
THEY MAY TAKE OUR LIVES, BUT THEY WILL NEVER TAKE OUR BEER!
