Ok folksies, I'm petitioning for assistance.
I've been hitting some walls with Hordes recently, while I've played plenty of games and had a lot of fun, it seems to generally get a little over-competative for my liking.
We all joke around about how broken everything is, but it does get a little soul-destroying after the 50-millionth time... Especially when half the time the cheese-wolves don't hardly do nothing.
Anyway, moaning aside.
I'm trying to create a fairly good-ish, fun and themed list for Kromac.
My current thoughts are:
-Tharn Ravagers (3+1)
...which leaves me with 20 points spare.
Some other stuff I was considering was getting a Blackclad Wayfarer in there (Kromac's "minder"), who would logically go well with some shifting stones.
I also know that Ravagers are awesome on toast combined with a sentry stone, but when I use that I tend to find it makes me stay in one place an awful lot (which is kinda sucky for Circle).
Anyone got any interesting thoughts to assist in my conundrum?

Well... Me not being much of an expert on Circle, or Hordes really, can't give much advice. That list do have a low model count, which could be an issue since you are really fighting on your opponents terms when it comes to board control.
But I'd give it a try at least.
I am not sure you need the Gorax with Kromac, he can buff the warpwolves himself with brutality. I definately don't think you need the ravagers. Shifting stones and the Wayfarer will probably help more. Plus leaves you some points for a bloodtracker unit or something.
Hey -t. I've been playing with Kromac a lot recently, and at 500 pts I like him running with a Warpwolf, a PB Warpwolf and a Woldwyrd. I have found that those 3 beasts go really well with him and complement each other really well too. Most people (myself included) would suggest taking some Wolfriders with Kromac, as the potential to put out a horrendous amount of beat down is there, and I'd like them as a distraction unit even without Brutality.
Blackclads are great at surprising your opponents by giving your Warpwolves 'eyeless sight' and an additional 3" on the charge. I would say that fielding shifting stones with a Blackclad is unnecessary as it usually puts your solo on the wrong side of the table with no support arriving in the foreseeable future.
I'll edit in more later, food calls
I agree, the Woldwyrd is great with Kromac. The wayfarer is very handy, as are the shifting stone, both independently of each other.
hey buddy, so my comments on the list:
The thing about Heavy warbeasts are that they are VERY good, but VERY easy to target, concentrate on and kill outright. From wolves to dire trolls, they have functioned best in support roles to my infantry and then let them shine mid-late game for one BIG push for an advantage.
I've been playing circle a lot lately so I'd like to share.
I would suggest dropping one of the Warpwolves in favor of a second unit of tharn or wolf riders.
Kromac + wolf riders is very good.
One of the strongest Kromac lists I've seen run(haven't run it myself) runs Kromac with either 2x tharn ravagers, or 1x TR and 1x wolf riders. 2x gorax(very good for points).
Its very efficient and a LOT of fun to play. Throw a sentry stone to make forests for you and you've got some good options.
I can definitely see what you mean about the sentry stones, and a tendency to stay stationary.
I use them to block LOS, and get my boys to at least mid field, where the enemy is either likely to be, or just on the other side of. If they are smart and stay AWAY from my made forests, then they are only one turn away from my entire force charging them. Use them to line up good matches for your tharn and then go murder them from it. I find that they HELP me with mobility by making sure I don't have to worry about fanagling behind other static cover to get there. (oh, and for really cheap swamp gobbers are fantastic for this role combined with the stone)
Hope this helps.
